Bob and Kish are elected
to the City Council,
and Gary is re-elected!
Walnut Creek voters re-elected incumbent Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Gary Skrel, and elected Planning Commissioner Bob Simmons and Transportation Commission Chair Kish Rajan to the three open City Council seats.
At his campaign celebration, Bob thanked the voters of Walnut Creek. “I am delighted that the residents of Walnut Creek have elected me to the City Council, and very pleased with their show of confidence in me. I congratulate Gary on his re-election and Kish on his election. I look forward to serving on the City Council with them and with council members Cindy Silva and Sue Rainey. I will work hard to be the best city council member I can be.”
Bob indicated he was pleased with the positive nature of his campaign, and that he plans to carry that positive approach to his work as a city council member.
